This 12-volt fuse not only does all the work of a normal fuse but also protects your vehicle’s wiring harness by measuring resistance, which generates heat and can impact your wiring. If there’s too much resistance, the thermal fuse will blow, protecting your wiring from damage. The fuse is directional, so the arrow on the side should point towards the cigarette lighter socket.
